This is Scotland's 2nd most visited castle after Edinburgh Castle. 15mins by car. Tours of the castle are available and the grounds are extensive to walk around, plenty to keep you occupied all day.
This famous theatre is known for showing 6 different plays on six different nights. Visit the website below to see this years programme of plays plus other events taking place.
This is Scotland's smallest distillery. Only 5 mins in the car. Tours are available along with a tasting session!. After completing the tour you can purchase discounted whisky.
The dam is only 10 mins walk from the centre of Pitlochry. There is a small exhibition centre along with the salmon ladder where if you are lucky you may spot a salmon.
Pitlochry's 18 hole golf course is a hidden gem, suitable for all levels of ability. It has a bar and restaurant open to the public. There are many other courses available within a short car journey.
This is probably one of Perthshire's most famous viewpoints. Queen Victoria was supposed to like this view but she was not alone- many guests enthuse about it if the weather is kind !
Known locally as Harrod's in the Country this is 20mins in the car. It's a modern shopping facility where you can purchase lovely holiday gifts. There's also a beautiful walk up the Falls of Bruar.
